North Hills Elk Working Group
The North Hills Elk Working Group has been meeting annually since 2005 to discuss the status and management of elk in Missoula’s North Hills.
The 2010 meeting included a presentation on:

The original meetings in 2005 helped determine the priorities for management. The top priorities of persons attending were to:
- Improve habitat (primarily through weed control)
- Help ranchers who were wintering the elk
