Helena—There’s still time to enter your favorite outdoor photo in Montana Wildlife Federation’s 4th Annual Photo Contest. Photographers have until Feb. 1 to submit their photos of Montana’s wildlife, its spectacular scenery, or their fishing or hunting trip to be eligible for great prizes.

Montana Wildlife Federation has partnered with Marsha Phillips and F-11 Photographic Supplies in Bozeman for the fourth year of the contest. F-11 is donating the first place prize of a Pentax Optio S45 Digital Camera and bag valued at $394.45. The Dark Room in Missoula has donated the second place prize, a Canon Camera Bag valued at $99.95; and Bozeman Camera Repair donated the third place prize, a $50 gift certificate.

“MWF is thankful to all the photographers for participating last year,” said Jan Cronin, MWF’s photo contest coordinator and development director.

“With so many quality entries growing each year—almost 400 entries last year—choosing the top three photos is a tough, but rewarding, challenge for our professional photographer and MWF staff.”

Cronin said the annual photo contest is MWF’s way of recognizing and sharing with others the remarkable outdoor opportunities Montana has to offer. She noted that entrants might also see their images published in
MWF’s bimonthly newsletter, Montana Wildlife, even if they aren’t the prize winning photos.

“Keep your camera handy and the next time you are outdoors in Montana, get a winning shot, and send it to MWF with a postmark no later than February 1, 2007,” stated Cronin.

Entry information can be obtained simply by going to MWF’s web site at [http://www.montanawildlife.com] www.montanawildlife.com or by calling MWF at 800-517-7256.
