The Legislature is underway, and committees have scheduled hearings related to hunting/angling issues. This email is to alert you to the first of these hearings on Tuesday, January 9 at 3PM.   • House Fish Wildlife and Parks Committee - Rm 152 3PM Jan. 9, 2007
    • HB 38- Bill McChesney, sponsor - Increase FWP Authority to reduce license fess for Game Management Purposes.
    • HB 51 - JP Pomnichowski, sponsor - Repeal Montana Conservation Corps laws
    • HB 71 - Gary MacLaren, sponsor - Require Trapper Safety and Education Course with Exceptions Provided
  • Senate Fish and Game Committee - Rm 422 3PM Jan. 9, 2007
    • SB13 - Jim Shockley, sponsor - Define Qualifications for FWP Commission Ag Member to be an Ag Professional with 2 Sections of property or more
    • SB34 - Sam Kitzenberg, sponsor - Revise FWP Authority to Regulate NonResident Permits in Unlimited Permit Areas to 10% of Totals
    • SB44 - Lane Larson, sponsor - Expand "Super Tag" Offerings to include Mtn. Lion, Antelope, and Bison, as per PLPW Council
    • SB9 - Sam Kitzenberg, sponsor - Golden Years Pass to Provide Free Access to State Parks
