Savory Perch Fillets

This is another method to prepare any white meat fillets; perch, walleye, cod, etc. It's simple to prepare, but makes it appear you cooked all day!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1# boneless perch fillets
  • Pint sour cream
  • 2 packets Lipton French Onion Soup Mix
  • Italian bread crumbs
  • 4 TBS butter
   

PREPARATIONS

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Grease baking pan or baking dish.
  • Mix French onion soup mix and sour cream.
  • Coat both sides of each fillet with sour cream mix and then roll bread crumbs, pressing lightly with your fingers to enhance a thick coating.
  • Place in baking dish.
  • Melt butter and drizzle atop each fillet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until fillets turn golden brown.

    Serve with Colonial Rice and maybe green beans with almond slivers.
